Nominations for the 2016 Asian Media Awards are now open.
The AMA’s aim to celebrate excellence in the media with categories in journalism, online, radio, television and marketing.
The awards are now in their fourth year and are held in partnership with some of the world’s leading media organisations.
In 2016, new categories feature an AMA Best Newcomer Award which recognises an individual who has made an impression on film, television and online.
This year see’s the introduction of a new Creative Media Award which aims to highlight the use of digital or other media in a campaign to promote a product, brand or service.
The 2016 AMA awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 27 October at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate with the official shortlist announcement being held at ITV, the London Studios on Monday 19 September.
Previous AMA recipients have included, amongst others, Ranvir Singh, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Mehdi Hasan, Waris Hussein and Nina Wadia.
