Asian Media Awards 2019 Finalists Announced at MediaCom

The 2019 Asian Media Awards finalists were announced in London last night (Monday September 16).

MediaCom hosted the official Announcement in front of partners, panel members and finalists.

It is the second year the headquarters of one of the world’s leading media agencies has hosted the event.

Keynote speakers included, Krishna Haveliwala, Associate Director at MediaComFaima Bakar, Journalist at Metro UK, Dr Annabelle Waller, Associate Dean International, University of Salford and Yasmeen Khan, Broadcaster and Writer.

The 2019 shortlist honours a wide range of work in Journalism, TV, Radio, Print & Online, Marketing & PR and Live Productions. 

Some of the most notable stories and investigations from the past year are recognised as well the innovative work of bloggers and broadcasters.

This year’s Asian Media Awards return to the Hilton Manchester Deansgate on Thursday October 24 2019.

Previous recipients of an Asian Media Award include Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Waris Hussein, Art Malik, Mehdi Hasan, Nina Wadia, Anita Rani & Faisal Islam.

The University of Salford are premier sponsors and partners to the event include ITV, MediaCom, M.E.N, & Press Association Training.

The official Charity Partners for 2019 are Mosac & Woman’s Trust.
