Anjna said, “It is really nice to be honoured both as an agency which we have been in the past few years and also as someone within the agency who has made a difference.

“It is something we set out to do when I first launched the agency twenty-odd years ago.

“I feel like the grandmother of PR! It is wonderful from where I started when nobody really knew about PR to now where we have a room full of people who are celebrating media and marketing. And all the immense talent of journalism – it is fantastic.

“Well worth the journey, the tears, the heartbreak and the laughter.”

As founder and managing director of Media Moguls Anjna has seen the firm attract clients from film, media, entertainment, lifestyle, food and beverage brands. She has also worked extensively with government departments wanting to communicate social policy as well as the charitable and commercial sectors.

In 2015 and 2016 Media Moguls has worked on projects including Disney’s Jungle Book, He Named Me Malala, The Merchant of Wembley, The Alchemy Festival on the South Bank and Feast of Varanasi and Sukanya: An Opera by Ravi Shankar.

The agency was also asked by the Malala Yousafzai family to manage a special commemorative event in Birmingham to mark the anniversary of the Peshawar attacks.
