Sky Sports News presenter Bela Shah will host the 10th Asian Media Awards ceremony.
The 2022 event will take place at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate on Friday 28 October.
The University of Salford are premier partners to the awards which honours categories in journalism, radio, TV, online, marketing and live events.
Since joining Sky Sports 2018, Bela has presented a number of special shows including Good Morning Euros from Wembley Stadium, Deadline Day, Tackling Racism and she is the lead presenter for Goals on Sunday.
Bela works with the EFL on a number of events including hosting the Carabao Cup final and the EFL Play Off matches at Wembley.
Bela also hosted the 2022 EFL Awards and was on the judging panel for the 2022 SJA British Sports Journalism Awards. She is also a mentor on the Journalism Diversity Fund.
Bela hosted the Asian Media Awards in 2021 for the first time.
She said: “I’m so excited to be back in Manchester to host the Asian Media Awards 2022 as the ceremony was one of my personal highlights of last year.
“I’m looking forward to another fantastic evening celebrating a wealth of talent in the media industry.”

Bela has been shortlisted for Sports Presenter of the Year at the Broadcast Sport Awards 2022.
Previously, Bela worked as a presenter for Channel 5, BBC Radio 1 and talkSPORT. Bela is also a qualified solicitor and worked as a lawyer for ITV Sport before pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.
The 2022 ceremony will be the eighth celebration to take place at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate and will honour a total of 23 categories of which there will be five special awards.
