Ethnic Reach Retains Media Agency of the Year Honour

It was a memorable night for Ethnic Reach who won the Media Agency of the Year award and the Creative Media Award.

The 2022 Asian Media Awards celebrated the achievements of journalists, broadcasters and leading creative industry professionals.

The ceremony hosted by Sky Sports News presenter Bela Shah saw special awards for LBC News host Lisa Aziz, BBC 5Live broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake and acclaimed TV and stage actor Kulvinder Ghir of Goodness Gracious Me fame.

The awards honoured journalism, online, radio, TV, creative media, stage, theatre and live events in 23 categories and was back at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate where the first awards took place in 2013.

The University of Salford are the Premier Partners for the awards which aim to shine a light on the accomplishments of media professionals from across the UK.

 

Ethnic Reach has strived to be experts in helping brands reach out to minority communities.

Over the past 18 months, the agency has been continuously working on multiple Covid-19 response campaigns supporting NHS England, Home Office, HM Government, Public Health England and local authorities.

The agency launched Vatika’s award winning #BeVisible campaign which aimed to celebrate positive body image by telling the stories of six women who identify as having a visible physical difference.

The team celebrated Elephant Atta’s 60th anniversary and also creatively showcased the proud history of heritage brands Rajah Spices, Amoy and Hamadaya Soya Sauce.

In addition to these the agency has worked on innovative campaigns for Aviva Origins, State Bank of India, Croydon Council, and ORS (Organic Root Stimulator) as well as providing support to smaller organisations who may not avail to the expert advice of a professional agency.


The 2022 Asian Media Awards winners of all categories and special awards were revealed at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate on Friday October 28.

Previous recipients of an Asian Media Award include Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Waris Hussein, Art Malik, Mehdi Hasan, Nina Wadia, Anita Rani, Shobna Gulati, Faisal Islam & Adil Ray.

The University of Salford are Premier Partners to the Asian Media Awards.
