The shortlist recognises the work of journalists, broadcasters and bloggers from across the UK.
In a year which has changed all our lives immeasurably the past year has seen a multitude of stories that have aimed to inspire and instil hope amongst communities. In our shortlist is work which has aimed to highlight injustices as well as raise issues affecting people of all backgrounds and cultures.
It is a year like no other and may we take this opportunity to thank all those who submitted their work.
This year the ceremony will take place digitally and will feature a select number of categories in journalism, radio and online.
Winners will be announced on Thursday 19 November.
