The 2020 awards will honour work in ten categories in a year like no other.
The past year has seen a myriad of stories that have aimed to inspire and instil hope amongst communities across the UK and beyond. There are stories from all genres which we are aiming to celebrate in our 2020 ceremony which is taking place in a new format due to the government’s COVID-19 guidelines.
There will be five journalism and reporting categories which will aim to highlight some of the most innovative investigations of the past year. We are honouring radio in two categories and the best of social media and video is represented in the Best Blog category. Before the lockdown, a whole host of shows took place and the Best Stage Production category is still one of our most sought after accolades. The Media Agency of the Year makes up our tenth category where we will be showcasing some of the most creative campaigns of 2019 and 2020.
Nominations for these categories are now open and work/events must be dated from May 1 2019 to August 20 2020.

The closing date for all entries is 11.59pm Friday 21 August.

This year’s Asian Media Awards will be made in accordance with government restrictions this Autumn/Winter either in London or digitally. Further details for this will be announced in the summer.
The official shortlist announcement will be made in September.
